Katy & Jon's Big Day: Before Ceremony & Ceremony

I don't know any other way to say it than to just say it but these two were quite possibly the most laid back couple I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. Maybe they had me fooled but it seemed like everything went according to plan and everyone had a great time.
The love that these two have is the kind that so many can only dream about. They are comfortable with each other and from what I could tell completely happy to be just with one another. They are not only so in love but they are best friends. I had so much fun getting the chance to spend another day with them.
There will be another post up soon with pictures from after the ceremony so don't forget to check back soon.

Boys Will Be Boys

I don't really understand how kids can go from sweet angels one day to 'Oh my lord! I'm going to shoot myself in the thigh if they don't stop!' the next day. A couple of days ago I was scoping out a new location and I knew that there was a playground there so I thought we would take advantage of the last bit of summer we have left and we went. The kids were amazing! We had snack there. They were listening really well. They were playing nicely together. They didn't even put up a fuss when it was time to go. They were so good that today when Lil G asked if we could go to the park I made the foolish decision to grant his request. We went to a different one in town and it was a nightmare. There were two older boys there making fun of Lil G for how he talks (he's 3 for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Sweet Pea peed her pants, Peanut had an absolute melt down when we left, it was just really crappy. Needless to say we won't be going to any playgrounds any time soon.
Wait, we have a family BBQ on Friday at one. Ugh! Well, at least I won't have to pin them into their car seats on my own :/

I realized today when I heard from this beautiful mama that I hadn't posted their family session yet. This family was a lot of fun to work with. I couldn't get Little Man C so smile for me to save my life and I almost had the same problem with Dad ;) but it turned out really good. Until Mr L was running around like a crazy man. He slipped on the gravel and scratched his knee. I felt so bad for the little guy, but Mommy came to the rescue. She scooped him up, cleaned him up, and got a band aid on it before I knew it. Lucky for me I got to capture her in action.
Thank you guys for letting me do this for you. I had a lot of fun.
