Times Change

It was so much fun doing this session. Westley is my brother-in-law but we've known each other much longer than that. He and I were in the same graduating class in high school. That might not mean very much to some because most graduating classes have upwards of 200 people. In our little northern Minnesota town we had fifty six in our class. Yes you read that right 5-6! So we've known each other for most of our lives.
The funny thing about me and Wes isn't even that we were in the same class but that we hated each other in high school. And I mean we really, really didn't get along. So you can imagine his excitement when his older brother told him he was dating me:).
Luckily in the years that I've been with his brother we have grown to love each other. He isn't just an in-law he is MY brother too.
He's had some rough patches over the years but lucky for him he now has Stephanie. She is amazing. She not only takes care of him, she loves his boys like they were her own. There aren't many women I know that would do the same. She is kind, loving, considerate, and she talks a lot which is perfect because Wes doesn't:).
Anyway, my point is that I love these guys. They are family and friends and I would do anything for them.

I have to explain these ones, she said "Smile for our engagement picture!" Mind you they are not engaged:) So this is his reaction and then hers. I love these people so much.

  1. Lesli.. I'm all in tears and smiles right now. I can't thank you enough for your beautiful words and pictures. Wes and I didn't have a nice picture of us together (after more than 3 years!) and he didn't have many of the boys.. so thank you! Thank you! I don't know what else to say!.. Can you believe that?! ;)
